Hartley 35 fly Bridge ***PROVEN FISH RAISING BOAT *** $99,900 ***
Price AU $99,900 Or nearest offer
A proven fish raising game boat she was custom built in 2003 by the current owner as a game fishing platform at a cost of over $300,000.00 and launched in 2004 with a enviable record amongst his peers this boat has proven to be a family favourite and has landed some outstanding game fish.
The current fit out with its single Cummins installation has the boat singing the right notes to bring fish to the boat, something important when there is 500m of water underneath you !
A full teak interior gives the boat a classic touch and simply lights up the interior in a way not possible on a modern white boat. A rich smell of timbers combined with the stark salt water makes a day out on Ryelle akin to something from a Zane Grey story. If you are a keen game fisherman or timber aficionado this is the boat for you !
A classic game boat fitout greets you at the dock recessed cleats, teak gunwales, central marlin door, self draining decks, live bait tank, game chair mount ( chair not included ), Underfloor storage, a 25mm thick teak cockpit !! and no marlin board fitted so that huge fish of a lifetime can be successfully dragged on board. This feels like the boat from Zane Greys book Tales of Fishing Virgin Seas. No mess, no fuss this is a fishing cockpit if ever I saw one.
Heading forward past the block ice box to STB and the custom lure station to PRT leads you into a beautiful Teak saloon. It lights up the boat ! The classic look this offers is simply not seen in todays modern boat builds. Quality lounges to port and Starboard double as two sets of bunks giving you the ability to sleep 6 with ease. Storage below and storage throughout give you plenty of room to stow all those expensive lures. Hanging the rods to the saloon roof in custom anodised rod racks completes the look of the game fisherman's boat.
Step down to the galley past the solid black marble dinette table complete with Teak trim. A modern approach to a classic galley, solid bench tops, Broadwater gas two burner stove with oven, stainless steel sink with drainer, Glacio fridge freezer 12v/24/240 operation and plenty of storage designed to retain your galley ware on longer open ocean passages. All finished in Teak !
Located in the bow the master berth with infill lives behind a beautiful teak slatted door, a large double of a pair of singles allows great utilisation of the forward berth. An arms length aft leads you to the head complete with manual toilet to holding tank, shower, vanity and more beautifully presented teak.
Head up to the fly bridge helm and a modern approach is evident, those fish dont find themselves you know. A large Northstar combination GPS/Sounder/Radar and Navman Auto-pilot will get you to the famous Rotto Trench and back. Spread the Relax game poles and set the lures.
Matilda Bay Shipwrights built this in a cross planked hull layup above water line stained and sealed internally and timber sheeting below. It is a Maple Dynal EPI glue construction with stainless and copper fixings. Traditional to the last plank. Recently stripped back from the gunwales down and two packed primed and re coated with three coats this looks like a glass hull on first viewing. Anti foul was stripped off and re coated in 2018 along with fresh Prop-Speed. Engine service just 30 hours ago.
Offering you a comfortable long cruise at 13.5 knots the Cummins naturally aspirated 300 Hp diesel single shaft driven installation will be hardly working at 2600 rpm for about 55 lt/hr. Down hill with the wind behind you a ferocious 15.5 knots is possible, but why push her, she is a beautiful boat at 13 knots, classic lines, classic feel and a pleasure to drive. Fitted with a straight through custom exhaust and dripless seal Ryelle has a lovely sound wandering across the ocean.
This a minimal maintenance boat that would suit any number of applications although would most likely prefer to be out in the big blue with a Classic skirted Rat from Peter Pakula dragging along out the back ! A compact and concise helm station with forward seating for the long trip home. Easy vision to the cockpit when the fight is on and quick access to the fly bridge rod rack and central game pole.
